![]() Some Clearview windows had gaps which allowed water seepage to go through, causing mildew. In addition, we heard reports of improper window installations. Unfortunately, this shop is closed three days a week– from Fridays to Sundays. Some customers mentioned how repairmen came within an hour after their requests which really made them happy. Speaking of peace of mind, we also like the fact that they are highly-responsive to repair requests. This solid coverage would certainly provide their customers with some peace of mind which we appreciate. They also provide a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee. This signifies that their products are being tested to the most relevant and up-to-date UK and international standards, and they also go through regular audits. They also have a Build Check certification which is reassuring. These features include fully reinforced frames and toughened glass, ensuring that they are hard to break into. What’s unique about their windows is that all of them come with added features for higher security. Windows include tilt and turn, casement, fully-reversible, and flush sash while doors include French, composite, patio, and bifold. Their extensive experience makes them the go-to for the local community’s window and door needs.įirst off, we are impressed by the wide selection of windows and doors they carry. I always think the real test of any company’s service is when there is a problem, and how they handle it.Clearview PVCu Windows & Doors is an Aberdeen-based company that has over 25 years of industry experience. Clearview Windows remedied this for us having eventually found the problem, not that they had to but because they wanted to ensure that as customers we were looked after. The irony was the problem was not of their making, or defective products, but was due to defects in the construction of our floating floors adjoining the doors. Three times their engineers came out promptly when we called, and they really worked incredibly hard to resolve the problem. We were delighted with the completed installation!īut……post installation an issue arose with the French doors, which only happened in extreme cold weather conditions. The installation went smoothly, with their team always on time and leaving our home clean as a pin each day. We opted for the brown/black frames but with white internally, and a beautiful Aluminum front door, and three sets of French doors. I hold no ill feelings towards the company but very disappointed, as I was always taught being polite and courteous doesn't cost anything, and although I had been very satisfied up to that point with the company as a whole, being ignored has left me wondering why.Īnd therefore instead of awarding five stars which I would have before I was ignored, and in future will use my previous window installer for whom make their windows & install and not just order & install.Ĭlearview Windows replaced all of the doors and windows on our 5 bedroom detached home, so a fairly large job. ![]() Unfortunately it wasn't until I took a rug up a few months after the first 12 month's were up, that it could be seen that the door had been installed before but when I contacted the company via a email and follow ups with this information, it appeared that I was nolonger their customer. I was offered a chance to save some money by purchasing an ex display composite front door, and although had mentioned to the his guy's on later visits that I suspected that the door was not ex display because adjustment screws were worn. Initially I was very happy with the company and kirt was very good and quick to rectify errors made on installation of two doors and four windows and would go out of his way to keep you happy.
